Marshfield is a city in Marathon County, Wisconsin and Wood County, Wisconsin Counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is the largest city in Wood County. The small portion of the city that extends into Marathon County is part of the Wausau, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 18,800 at the 2000 census. Marshfield is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 10, Highway 13 (Wisconsin) 13 and Highway 97 (Wisconsin) 97.In most recent evaluations, 4% of people in Marshfield, Wisconsin have considered looking into new windows designed to prepare their home for sale.As of the census of 2000, there were 18,800 people, 8,235 households, and 4,866 families residing in the city.
