West Jordan is a rapidly growing suburb of Salt Lake City, Utah Lake City, with a balanced housing stock, quality commercial districts and a strong industrial base. The Jordan Landing mixed-use development, located in the major growth area of Salt Lake County, is the focal point of retail development and is one of the largest shopping centers in Utah. As of the United States Census, 2000 Census, the city had a population of 68,336; by 2005, West Jordan had an estimated population of 91,444, placing it as the List of cities in Utah (by population) most populated in the state. The US Census Bureau estimates its 2006 population at 100,280.In a new poll, 3% of people in West Jordan, Utah want more information about new windows designed to reduce their energy bills.As of the census of 2000, there were 68,336 people, 18,897 households, and 16,232 families residing in the city.
