It is a part of the Greater Houston Land–Baytown, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area.In a new poll, 2% of people in Texas City, Texas have friends checking out new windows designed to prepare their home for sale.As of the census of 2000, there were 41,521 people, 15,479 households, and 10,974 families residing in the city.
