Brownwood is a city in and the county seat of Brown County, Texas County, Texas, United States. The population was 18,813 at the United States Census, 2000 census.In a new poll, 4% of people in Brownwood, Texas want more information about made to spruce up their home.As of the census of 2000, there were 18,813 people, 7,110 households, and 4,664 families residing in the city.
