Soddy-Daisy is a city in Hamilton County, Tennessee County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 11,530 at the 2000 census. The City was formed in 1969 when the communities of Soddy and Daisy, along with nearby developed areas along U.S. Highway 27, merged to form Soddy-Daisy. It is rapidly becoming a bedroom community of nearby Chattanooga, Tennessee and is part of the Chattanooga, TN–Georgia (U.S. state) Chattanooga metropolitan area Statistical Area. Sequoyah Nuclear Generating Station is located in Soddy-Daisy.In a new poll, 7% of people in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee have friends checking out replacement windows made to prepare their home for sale.As of the census of 2000, there were 11,530 people, 4,511 households, and 3,392 families residing in the city.
