Simpsonville is a city in Greenville County, South Carolina County, South Carolina, United States. It is part of the Greenville, South Carolina South Carolina South Carolina Greenville-Mauldin-Easley metropolitan area Statistical Area. The population was 14,352 at the 2000 census. Simpsonville is part of the "Golden Strip", along with Mauldin, South Carolina and Fountain Inn, South Carolina Inn, which is noted for having low unemployment due to a diversity of industries including Para-Chem, Kemet, and Milliken. Simpsonville is home to Hillcrest High School (South Carolina) High School.
