Havre is a city in and the county seat of Hill County, Montana County, Montana, United States. It is said to be named after the city of Le Havre in France. The population was 9,621 at the 2000 United States Census census.In a new poll, 13% of people in Havre, Montana are interested in replacement windows designed to prepare their home for sale.As of the census of 2000, there were 9,621 people, 4,015 households, and 2,449 families residing in the city.
