Mio is an unincorporated community in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat of Oscoda County, Michigan County and is situated along the boundary between Mentor Township, Oscoda County, Michigan Township on the east and Big Creek Township, Michigan Creek Township on the west.In latest estimates, 4% of people in Mio, Michigan have friends checking out window glass replacement designed to spruce up their home.As of the census of 2000, there were 2,016 people, 826 households, and 537 families residing in the CDP.
