Fitchburg is home to Fitchburg State College as well as 19 public and private elementary and high schools.In a new poll, 17% of people in Fitchburg, Massachusetts are interested in aluminum replacement windows made to spruce up their home.As of the census of 2000, there were 39,102 people, 14,943 households, and 9,369 families residing in the city.
