Manhattan is a city in Pottawatomie County, Kansas and Riley County, Kansas counties in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Kansas. Located at the junction of the Big Blue River (Kansas) Blue and Kansas River rivers, the city is the county seat of Riley County.
