Kansas City is the third largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas and is the county seat of Wyandotte County, Kansas County. It is a Satellite town city of Kansas City, Missouri and is the third largest city in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The city is part of the "Consolidated city-county Government" which also includes the cities of Bonner Springs, Kansas Springs and Edwardsville, Kansas As of the United States Census 2000 census, the city population was 146,867.
