Hudson has grown in recent years as a suburb of Waterloo, Iowa and Cedar Falls, Iowa Falls. It is part of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Waterloo-Cedar Falls metropolitan area Statistical Area.In a new poll, 20% of people in Hudson, Iowa have friends checking out spruce up their home.As of the census of 2000, there were 2,117 people, 787 households, and 613 families residing in the city.
