A 2007 special census placed the Village's population at 30,548 , growing considerably from the 2000 Census figure of 23,276 .In most recent evaluations, 15% of people in Algonquin, Illinois have friends checking out replacement windows designed to prepare their home for sale.As of the census of 2004, there were 27,900 people, 8,300 households, and 7,100 families residing in the village.
