Duluth is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia located in the Metro Atlanta area. Unincorporated portions of Forsyth County, Georgia County also have Duluth as a mailing address, though this area is outside city limits. A portion of the Johns Creek, Georgia of Johns Creek (incorporated Dec. 1, 2006) is served by the Duluth post office, causing much confusion since that area is in Johns Creek, not Duluth.In a study just performed, 4% of people in Duluth, Georgia have friends checking out replacement windows made to spruce up their home.As of the census of 2000, there were 22,122 people, 8,735 households, and 5,642 families residing in the city.
