Pinellas Park is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida. The population was 45,658 at the 2000 census. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 47,166 [http://www.census.gov/popest/cities/tables/SUB-EST2004-04-12.xls]. The city was founded by Philadelphia publisher, F. A. Davis, who purchased of Hamilton Disston's land around 1911. In a new poll, 21% of people in Pinellas Park, Florida have friends checking out vinyl replacement windows designed to prepare their home for sale.As of the census of 2000, there were 45,658 people, 19,444 households, and 12,152 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,195.2/km² (3,095.8/mi²). There were 21,843 housing units at an average density of 571.8/km² (1,481.1/mi²).
